Doug + Karlie Engagement : Commerce, Michigan

Joy, happiness and lots of laughs accompanied this engagement session! Karlie and I go back almost ten years..(ugh..Im old). She is a total sweetheart and absolutely beautiful on the inside and out! Her kindness just shines through her sweet face. Doug and Karlie both have a fantastic sense of humor and I am so happy they found each other. You can tell they just “get” each other which isn’t that easy to find in this great big world. After dating for around 5 years, Doug told Karlie he was going to be playing basketball with his buddies and couldn’t make their Thursday night Grey’s Anatomy date. She went over to his place (he had hidden his car) and she saw a candle burning…worried he had forgotten it she marched in there (with attitude…yes, no, maybe! *smiling*) to find Doug down on one knee, and he asked her to marry him! She said YES and they will be tying the knot in December. I couldn’t be happier for them! They are such a caring, dynamic couple that has such a bright future of love & happiness!
